One Friday night the 13 October 2011 was the Rhodes Community Engagement awards at Eden Grove.Various awards were handed out to different volunteers involved with different Community projects in Grahamstown.There were a few speeches delivered,the Key note Address was done by Dr.Mabizela followed by the Student speaker-Julie-Anne Lothian.The spectators were also entertained by the Amaphiko dance group, dancing there moves flawlessly.Before entering the lecture room people were entertained by the Gadra Marimba Band.They were really fascinating to listen to playing their tunes,most of them being visually impaired, they played with so much passion and pride!
