Pictures taken in Cofimvaba, where South Africa's Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research are leading a project to improve education and the economy of the area through agriculture and local entrepreneurship. I had the opportunity to attend Maggie Verster's teacher training session, where educators at the school were building skills in using mobile technologies in the classroom. awareNet is in use at this school for developing a localized agriculture curriculum, to support tech literacy and provide access to educational materials.
