The flower

Once upon a time in a small town called Grahamstown lived a beautiful girl named Mbalentle.She was given this name by her grandfather.she was given this name because her grandfather had a very clean and tidy garden were he planted his fruit,vegetable and flowers.

One day this old man bought a flower in a flower shop,in the shop they told him that the flower would take a year to grow.but when the old man took it and went to plant it,the flower just took three days to grow,and that third day was the day when Mbalentle was born.so the grandfather chose to name the girl as Mbalentle because of the beautiful flower that had to grow for a year but grew in three days.the grandfather translated the name ''flower'' into a xhosa name,which was ''Mbalentle''.

And that was how she got the name.
