My recording experience!

After a very successful Peace Day Music celebration were Five schools competed against each other for the best Hip Hop song,it was time for each song to be recorded.First up for their song recording was Mary Waters High School a very enthusiastic bunch of learners.They each had their turn to record their own lyrics,their were a few repeats until they did it to perfection,but after a few practices they did their recording 110%.They thoroughly enjoyed their recording session experience and learned the tricks of the trade when it came to recording!Mary Waters High school Won the best Lyrics written,and because of that they will get the opportunity to have their own music video recorded under the watchful eyes of Roderick Zipp.The recording of the music video will be done in the next few weeks.




The next group to be recorded was also a very enthusiastic group of learners and very excited to have their recording done.They were recorded on Wednesday last week,each one of them also had their own chance to record their lyrics.After a few practice rounds the recording was done to perfection.Each one of them also like the idea of posing for the camera.A very successful recording was done with Nathaniel Nyaluza Public school with a lot learned during this recording session.






The recording sessions was done under the guidance of Lunga and Corinne who had years of experience when it came to recording and song writing.They assisted and guided each of the learners as they did their recording in a real professional way.A lot of patience came with the guidance as they took each one of them and assisted them to the last note sang.A job well done!




Victoria Girls High school was chosen as the best group and was next to record their lyrics.This was really a group of girls full of life and really had the singing spirits when they arrived for their recording.They warmed up their voices with beautiful tunes sang before they started their recording one by one.But first a group recording was done but a few repeats were done before the real deal was done to perfection.Each individual recording was done superbly with just one or two repeats here and there.I must admit Victoria Girls High school was my favorite all time group their voices really showed with how much passion they sang their peace day song!
