depression is an illness that involves your body,your mood and your affects the way you eat and sleep,the way you feel about your self ,and the way you think about things and the world.Depression is not the same as ordinary,everday blues or sadness that we all feel sometimes,it is not a sign of weakness,and it can not be wished away. people with depression can not pull themselves together and get better . without treatment symtoms can last for a weeks,months, or years.
