Teen Legacy is a young local group from Nathaniel Nyaluza Public Secondary School in Grahamstown that decided they wanted to continue in the Hip Hop foot steps after the awareNet Theme Song Project and the Peace Day Concert. They wrote their own lyrics that were entered into a lyrics competition called "Sing'it".

We will keep you informed about the outcome.

1. TEEN LEGACY's LYRICS

INTRO

Baby I was waiting for you
Down with my hommies
Girl again you letting me down

(CHORUS)

I tried to call you
Waiting for you
Whose that hommie rolling with you
Remember the day that you never pushed me
Remember the day that you never angered me
Promise me that you never miss me
And you have just turned my heart apart

(I'm not gonna run away)

Verse 1(Andile Mengu)
Said I'm down and you now.
Starting to play with my whole life.
Guess what they said about you is right.
And you always starting a fight.
Early or late at night.
Cant take it anymore ,cant take it anymore.
Just... wanna tell you something once...
This... has gone to far...
I can't take it anymore ,I can't take it anymore.
Let me take this to another level.

(I'm not gonna run away)

Verse 2( Akhona Cibi)
My soul is rumbling.
Inside I'm trembling.
I'm having this feeling of cause I'm mumbling this love is humbling.
This love is humbling .
It was just a fame.
Don't play the blame fame.
Its not all about the fame.
I will never be the same.
You was always noisy-lazy driving me crazy.
I brought you a neck less.
I thought this love was endless.
But it was useless you left me breathless.
Now I'm kneeling praying looking in the ceiling.
God all I need is a hemical healing.
I'm singing, drinking, sipping and sinking also thinking.
I'm dreaming, driving, and drowning in the deepest ocean made of magic potion.
And now I found out that I never learned my lesson.
Everybody knows I chose the Hip Hop for a reason.
Let me go this love was made for a season.
I'm the soldier who always follow the Religion therefore thats why named me legend.

(I'm not gonna run away)

Verse 3(Olwethu Nqweniso)
Six days alone thats enough please go living with my father.
Life has turned harder.
I rather be a bad lover.
Cause everything I do I do it with my crew
But for you
It is just a little clew.
Clever crew.
Change things come true.
Between me and you.
Theres just a confusion.
 I hate that
Babes cause it kills my passion
 Lets forget our past.
Our  minds must be fast.
In this time not at last.
What I hear isn't right.
Start a fight.
Against my life.
You pretend like my wife.
 Sorry another time not now.
All of us, lets take a bow.

(I'm not gonna run away)

Verse 4(Olwethu Magwala)
I'm black and I'm saying it proudly.
You may call me ugly.
 I agree with you.
 I wont change
who I  am because you want me to.
She told us we have egos although she takes us as her heroes.
Called us pigs though in this planet we are the predators.
The first time I saw you I thought I saw the brightest star on the sunlight.
Now every time I see her I feel like vomiting.
You selfish chick I
wish you burn in flames for what you said to us.
 I finally found the one.
I know there was another  dude who chose the same rose I chose.
Her mom is the greatest mother-in -law ever.
She loves me more than her daughter.
I know something about the dude I share my flower with.
Dude you smoke weed that ain't healthy.
Instead of smoking weed go and suck a sugar cane.
If you don't like it you can suck something else.
Dudes we are the chick hunters.
You better hide your chicks and were not.

(Gonna run away)
