A Board Game to explain the Internet without the Internet

Last week we made a list of tools that can be used in a board game. This is what we found:

• dice
• tokens
• symbols
• barricades
• clocks
• action cards
• answer&question cards
• pencils and paper
• no board
• forces or lives

We discussed some ideas of what they could represent. Here, you can follow a discussion about what our group would like to use in the board game and what for. Please, add your opinion to the forum discussion. We want to hear everyone's ideas!

we made lots of  board games and some were good and some were not so good because they just weren't clear but the important thing is that we had so much fun.and Miss Anna gave us lots of tools that we can use such as the ones listed above.

In a forum, we have asked everyone to think of things they think are good about the Internet. We will then try to build these aspects into the game!

Awarenet project-is about developing computer skills and fun.We sometimes create board games its similar to arts and craft,we are like testing our skills of using our hands things like writing,drawing,designing and evaluating.

The internet is great because You get to search information and you can also play great games.

The internet is bad because they allow children to go on porn sites although they are young and all they could do is just put a password that contains a ID number so that the children wont get to porn easily. The good thing about the internet is you can search all you please and that gossip flows very fast so you can catch it any time without using your airtime.

Thirty seconds cards

They work like this ; they give out clues it has a board and a set of cards and every time you move you and one person have to guess the clues on the cards.

So we could change the porn site and the gossip into a thirty second game the only thing that will be changing is the name of the game of the game to CHANGING THE INTERNET IN THIRTY SECONDS













 

THE bad thing about the internet is people comment about things they don't know lieing ,saying bad things about people.Changing the internet in thirty seconds that will be fun.We could even make a board game and play it as dice with snakes and leder on so that it can be more exciting as ever .This will be how we play it,a person will role a dice and check the number they rolled and will play maybe they got three they will think of ways to change the lies and bad rumour about people thats what i think .

I think that the tablet is a great device that adults or children can use for their daily device and the  tablet can be educational and fun for kids and kids can learn a lot from the tablet some might abuse the tablet  by adding bad comments or spreading lies about celebrities and posting bad blogs about the world well something can change that we have thought of a way to change the internet in 30 seconds the game will get people talking 247/365 all day and posting good comments some will be bad but we  do not really care as long we got people who will play or shop for the game

pc are very fun to use  and  you can have fun  playing  board  games with  friends and develop  skill  

The tablet pc is a great thing coz you get to touch on the screen and it is easy you have everthing infront of you for explain the keyboard is right at the bottom of the screen and so as every thing you need.
