World AIDS Day (2010)

I for one had a lot of misconceptions about HIV/Aids. At first I thought if I touched someone who is infected with this disease I would also get infected. But as time went on i discovered HIV is not CONTAGIOUS. But in order for me to know this I had to do a school project, now you see not every body will do a school project and find out that all the 'myths' being spread about HIV are actually 'myths'. So many people dont know a lot about this disease, what these people do just like I did is, they come up with they own ideas on what this diease is all about.What I plan to do is to inform those people about HIV and how they can protect themselves and keep healthy if they do get infected.

some people find it hard to except hiv/aids people in the world because they think if they make contact with them they will also get infected.like people would not want to eat,use  the same toilet,touch there hands or communicate.people are afraid of getting hiv/aids and get wrong ideas by thinking they can get infected if they were near those who has the disease.

The aim of the project is to educate people about hiv and aids .the project want  youth to take part .pepple are going to be educated about how does hiv spread .and how to procect our selfs from it .there are posters to make people to see hiv makes people in life .governent is going to provide us condoms to give the people to protect their selves  .having a truck that is going to test people who want to know their status.
in this project we are going to the hiv and aids awareness team .to talk with the people giving them advices .
there is going to be a person who is going  to talk about how does the hiv spread and how to mke our selves be safe .advising the people to have one sexual partner and partners must be faithfull to each otherand also to condomise evry time they are doing sexual intercourse  and wearing hand gloves when they are helping bleeding people

hiv is a very deadly disease if one does not eat as told by the doctors or nurses,a person who has hiv must eat healthy and he or she should eat vegetables,fruit,food that has all the energy heshe needs.but here in south africa the are few people who have tested but many people have not yet even thought about testing so the numbers of people who have it are increasing.i am very proud to say i have tested and im hiv negetive.many people think that if they have hiv then their lives are over what they dont know is that if they have hiv they can actually live longer,thats if they eat their arv's.if they dont eat the arvs that they are given they could get aids and that leads to death.the has not yet been a cure for aids,arvs dont cure hiv they just help the person to be stronger.many people thought that hiv can be spread by touching,eating together with a person who has hiv,drinking from the cup as that person and simply just by hugging but no thats not true at all,we can hug,talk,drink and eat together with a person who has hiv and still wont be infected.hiv can be spread by having sex with someone who has it,through blood,mother to baby but i think the has been something that has been done to help a baby who has a hiv positive mother. 

I feel that more has to be done than said in the prevention and care about HIV/AIDS.People seem to lack information on how they can go about protecting themselves against contracting the virus .But there is a hope that not long will we get a cure for this killer disease.

hi,iam here to tell you about hiv and aids.its dificult to us to know what aids its about, aids is about living life with a daseas that is popular to people.in my family ihave aunty which is infected but she is now someone in life she can do anything that she want exept drinking alcohol.so people must not do nercecary things which could put him/her in a wrong places.there was someone who was infected but drinking the thing called umtshovale,she did not took care for her children but she ended going to temba.she was nearly dyng because she did take it as a thing which someome can live with,i can live with wont you.we need to welcome everyone with it because its part of life.we need to protect each other from it by not touching a bloody person's blood,not using another person's tooth brash,not sleeping without using a condom.many things could us being infected. people must eat healthy food which are infected.

The world AIDS DAY means a lot to all the south africans b'coz we are celebrating the killing disease.We as south africans have to rise up and say ''NO'' to the virus by,abstaining 4rm sex and all the bad things.On the 1st of DECEMBER 2010 we as the nation have to enjoy ourselves and also be free to talk and share our ideas.We must feel free and comfortable while sitting with other people and feel equally.Some people who have the virus have to share their stories with others.

i know a lot of people who are infected with HIV or AIDS and since peolpe in our communities know so little about this virus so they choose to ignore them or make them feel unwanted even though people know that there is information at the clinics about this virus but they still treat them like outsiders like they are not one of us and in my own perspective i think world AIDS is to put our differences aside and for once in ourlives stop thinking for ourselves and just support those who are infected and make them feel special. and if we all stand together we can defeat this virus thats eating our nation and on world aids day i will light my candle showing my support

I did'nt know what HIV/AIDS was but as time goes on I learned about this disease and one day I went to Cape Town to my dad and my dad said that there is something that he wants to tell me I shocked cause he sounded very serious but then listened to what he was going to say.We sat down and he was in tears I was like what's dad he told me that my grandfather passed away because he was sick of HIV/AIDS,I did'nt cry because I was still small I was 7 years old and he explained to me about the disease  then I know whwat is HIV/AIDS.What I would like to say to the people who does'nt know about this disease  when

on 1,st of december a wold aids day we remember there people died becouse of aids. there are are said that if you are HIV positive one day you died  becouse of aids.when you get aids you must eat a helthy food and eat a treatment every day/night and you are not getting aids when you eat on his/him plate.

The World AIDS Day its a very emotional day,because it's a day of rememberance of our passed loved one's and also the one's that are affected by the disease.And so the way to remember them we choose to come together and light the red candles together.The reason i say it's a very special day is that when every one is missing his/her loved one gets so emotional and i THABANG LEEMISA saying lets fight the virus because to us people there is nothing impossible,together HIV/AIDS we can defeat it,and the advice i give to the people who are affected to the disease i say they must'nt  loose the hope,the doctors are still working on the process of getting the medicine to cure the disease an i hope that they will get the medicine soon as possible becouse this disease is killing our nation and our people an it does'nt give any mercy to anyone

The world AIDS day i feel that it is the most important day,because that day makes people to know more about HIV/AIDS.when i started to know about HIV/AIDS.I thought that it could infect people by just eating with them or just playing with them that was the first time i knew that HIV/AIDS does not infect that easly if you protect youreslf by using condoms you will not be infected by HIV/AIDS that is when i knew that HIV/AIDS does not mean that when you play with someone that is infected by HIV/AIDS you will get infected.The thing is that when you are playing with a person and that person bleeds you must call your parent or your neighbour to come help you,because you do not know if that person is infected,or you may help him/her by using safty hand gloves.what i like about this is that it gives people the knowledge to know more about HIV/AIDS than they know.HIV/AIDS it is a serious matter ,becuase when you are infected by HIV/AIDS you have to make a sure of that you take good care of yourself,and you must not keep your secret inside ,because you are going to hate yourself and you are going to end up killing yourself.

not many people know about the world day and they dont undastand what it is for,well world aids day is not only about the people who lives with it but all of us,it educate people how to live with people with aids and how to take care of and for those who are not living with aids it teaches us how to stay negative  and how stay healthy.many people think that if you live with someone who is hiv positive you will be affected by the various this day should be known and respected by all of us because it does not only help us to know what we are dealing with and it teaches us how to take care of our self. i myself did not know anything about the first of December untill

what i knw abt hiv&aids is that its a vry dangerous disease and it is trasmitted in terms of sexual intercourse when a person is sleeping with an in an infected partner with out havin a condom ebhananen xa umntu ebusy shaye gwaven then dat prsn cn gt realy ill. wat else mhhmhmhm HIV is a virus in full its Human immune Virus and its a strong virus ninani ayxhomi tu it starts with weakenin ur immune system then a prsn cn hv as mny deseases as heshe wshes 2 hv e.g pneumonia brb.

the world aids day is the big day 4 us as a human biengs because we do have people who are living with this disease so we have 2 support them every time they need support from us and also the is no need 4thinking that we batter than them we are equal

As we all know that on 1st of December its world AIDS day as ba kubalulekile kum ukuba mandi  ndibanike isupport abantu abaphila netsholongwane ka gawulayo.AIDS is an uncurable deseas . World Aids day is a most important day because its a day of remembering our loved ones who died by this deseas.   HOW DOES AIDS SPREAD FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER.Aids spread from one person to another by having unprotected sex.From an infected mother to her unborn child .                           

The wolrd aid day make me want to help all people live with HIV/AIDS is hard for me to let people die for no reason.The world aids day is very important to the people live with aids cause is the day to remembered our loved once haved dead of this bad dieses.

i would like to help people on that day.becauce they love us.i can do enything for the people they have aids.they can do enything for us so we must respect them and help them.the world aids day is the big day to them.they want to make them happy that tell us we shoul respect that day so we can make them feel happy.you can take care of  them sop that you can make sure he aet the teplets.

At December 1st is International HIV/AIDS day.What is AIDS?AIDS is the most serios,deadly diseases in human history.AIDS is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus [HIV].HIV destroy a type of defence cell in the body called cd4 helper .

In 1988, the General Assembly expressed deep concern at the pandemic proportions of the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Noting that the World Health Organization had declared 1 December 1988 World AIDS Day, the Assembly stressed the importance of observing that occasion (resolution 43/15). Today, over 41 million people are living with HIV/AIDS. To combat HIV/AIDS , malaria and other diseases is one of the Millennium Development Goals which all 191 United Nations Member States have pledged to meet by the year 2015. So people lets face it and live with it.

DURING THE WORLD AIDS DAY I WOULD BE FOCUSING ON THINGS LITERAL THAT ARE AFFECTING THOSE WHO ARE INFECTED .I WILL PASS MASSAGES THAT WILL MAKE THEM FEEL THAT THEY ARE APRICIATED AND LOVED. AM GOING TO MAKE A POSTER WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THIS DISEASE.THEN I WILL GO TO THE CONFRENCE AND SHARE MY OPINIONS WITH OTHER PPL.

World Aids day,a day to remember those who are living with the killer disease .The day is not about pain but only about how we support and care about them.These peple are not strangers but our loved ones,they don't  change just because of the fact that they have the disease.To them it is very painful because they find themselves at a very difficult situation,whereby they feel helpless and hopeless.During this day all I do is to support and care for them  and give them  joy to see  that they are not forgotten.Days like this one are very important,lets love them for who and what they are because they are our brothers and sisters.

But we all that is not true. In our communities we treat them badly because we do not have enough information about AIDS.

What is AIDS?AIDS is a disease that is caused by a virus called HIV.AIDS is a very dangerous disease that cant be cured.People think when they have AIDS cant do anything,but thats not true because when you have it you can still do some of the things that you used to do.Some people say if you eat with some one that is infected using the same spoon,you might get infected too.It is transmitted during unprotected sex.You can also get it by touching a blood of a person that is infected with a wound in your hand.This disease can be handled,if you have it dont be scared to tell people about it.Infected or not lets love each other.

Aids is a serious infactious deases.The ward aids stands 4 Aquid Immune Diffitiancy Sindrom.This kind of deases infacts humen only by having an unsafe sex.Thousands of people died because of this deases.HIV stands 4 Human Immune Virus  this is still aids but at this stage it is building  up at your and when it is called aids it has already built / grown up.  2 prevent aids people should abstain from sex or use condom ,when you trying help some1 bleeding you should put slastic glaves on these are the ways of aids prevention

this day is very important to many all around the world, thats why i'm going to honour the day by wearing my aids rebon. and since i'm a SHAC member i"m going to make sure i do something maybe go to my friends and we will just sit and talk about aids related stuff and how to stay safe.

the day world aids day is very very important to us as we are teenagers because it reffers to us.i think  we should take care of ourselfs so that we can be what we want to be in future.we know that teenagers are likely seems to be hursh;they dont take things step by step they want to do things at the very same time.so that at the end they dont know what to do because of their harshness,we have to think very very carefully.as we know that aids is too high here in south africa,we as teenagers have to prevent it but how.we can prevent it by always using condoms,so that we can have safe sex,but not the way we do.our parents and teachers always advices us almost everyday,so i think we have to show them respect and follow their instructions as they are.

This is a day worth looking or focusing  on because, it helps those that are affected and infected by this disease be noticed and helped by their communities and be given that kind of support they need and deserve. This is an awareness day to show the AIDS sufferers that, living with this disease is not the end of the world but they should take it as the beginning because their bodies need that sacred attention and care as they are or will be sick often. Living with HIV/AIDS is fine, so as asufferer do not mind the criticism you get but just keep on living your life to the fullest. 

by the 1st of decemba its gng to be AIDS DAY,well ive been plnning to visit a dae care centre bt i dnt knw which 1.i wanna show them luv that they nid nd i wanna tel them its not the end of the world.if they can accpt the fact tht they are infeted by this disease its possible 4 them to live.and i thnk people mst stop treatin thse who are infected by this disease bad.bcoz its not worth it,they dnt knw were their future is holding.WE MUST TREAT THEM EQAUL AS OTHERS

now days youth dont even care about H.I.V and aids maybe they dont know that H.IV/Aids is a killer disease.

In 1st of december I will go out to concerts that involve people who will be talking about H.IV because even my self I dont know every thing about this disease.

i dnt knw mch bwt hiv/aids, bt i jst knw dat tz a vry powerful n uncurable desease. mny ppl thnk dat wen u`re infected by dis virus, ur lyf haz came 2 n end bt dat aint true coz Anti Ritro Virus (ARV) hve been introduced. these pills d nt cure aids bt atleast gives u strength so u may live 4 longr whilst u`v got da virus.

World AIDS Day means to love,care,share and bring happiness to all people who have it.And it also means to bring peace to the world and to celebrate the lives of those who have stayed for a long time till now.It means to have respect to all who have it and to listern,take responsibility for your actions and be careful to other diseases.What i learned about AIDS is that if you want to live, you have to eat healthy food,take treatment properly, you have stop thinking about,try hard to stop thinking about it and have stress.If you are sick go to the nearest clinic to have a check up and know your status . 

Today things  are changing we are allawed many choises that they wern't in the past.And some strugle to make good choices some fall for the pressure of friend . I think it's about time that the community should take a part in educating  young girls about the fact that they don't have to sleep with their boyfriends to keep them . And also people must stop questioning the self-confessed young virgins and stop making this anissue . The bottom line is that beig a virgin is a sensible way to live today ; it's also one of the good choices that young girls can make to protect themselvs against HIV/Aids and other sexual-transmited diseases and evn unplaned pregnances.

the aids worl day should be celebrated more often because it gives courage to those peolpe who are living with it and they must know that together we can beat the aids and we do sympathis with them.it is not a sin or a panshiment but it is the consiquence of someone who is careless when it comes to sexual intercause.people should know that the aids can be treated and they can prevent it using a condom.they must know that it is not a stigma to one onother and they can still live longer than they are expected by other people.
together we can fight aids in many ways like we can disribute condoms everywhere.people who are pregnant with aids they get treatment from the clinic so that they can have the aids free babies.to those who are being raped by people with aids the also get the before24 hours of the rape and they can be treated and aids free as well.
if you are living with aids you dont know what to to you can join the support group of your choise so that youn will know how do they feel other peple with aids and you will start eating healthy food and excersise daily.

Hiv.Hiv is an deasses that you can get in the human body.you can not see hiv you can not smell hiv.only you will get illnes its not that if you have hiv you will die.no you won't die if you follow your treatment you will be healthy.How Hiv spread.HIV it spead like (e.g)when there ia an car exident people get streched get bleeding each other then blood spread.then people get ill.even when people have unprotected sex even when they are using condom a condom can be poped.

World AIDS day it is about love,to show love to those who have AIDS.And also to remember the one we love,the ones that we were staying with them.It is also important to show them that they are like us but, the is one thing change to them is that they have a AIDS.People that have AIDS they though that,oh i have AIDS i will die,NO THEY CAN LIVE AS LONG AS GOD WANT TO.So at wold aids day we will be making them happy,showing them love,respect,and that we care about them,that they are the part of us.Every one is not sure that heshe have AIDS,so try to respect others and show them love witch is UTHANDO they need that,after you show your love shehe will feel better about that.SO LETS SHOW THEM LOVE,LETS WORK TOGETHER.
