Peace Day Song recordings

When we went to the Rhodes University studio I was happy and also nervous because I was there for the first time and everything was new to me.

I sang very happy and I was also bored because I was very hungry but the song we sang made me happy and the way we sang it.

It was a great song to me and I liked it. Am also happy to sing for a C.D and am glad I made it to the studio to sing.

my holiday and plans

My

holiday and plans

My holiday was fabulous and I enjoyed it, I spent it with my family and friends…..and few school mates. I never went out of Grahamstown this holiday because it was very short, just went to the botanical garden to celebrate my pass mark for the last term.

Looking at my marks, they were not very impressing because I was playing during the last term…and I also got into trouble with the principal and teachers.

My plans for this term is to work very hard and pull up my sorks and start to be serious. I will improve my marks and get a very improved mark and make my teachers and parents proud of me. I want to also do my best and never let my teachers and parents down.

challenges we face as young people in south africa

CHALLENGES WE FACE AS YOUNG PEOPLE IN SOUTH AFRICA !!!!

There are many challenges we face as the young generation of South Africa. We face many things especially when it comes to health,we get eating disorders. Here in South Africa we are different and we face different challenges. We get pregnant at an early age ang we get affected by many diseases such as HIV/AIDS and other water related diseases.many teenagers live with their children and leave school. Many girls leave their homes just to be with boys and dont care about their future .Young teenagers die at an early age because of drugs and others are in jail for robbery and rape.Drugs lead people to do wrong things that make them end up in jail.

other teenagers go to tarvens to drink alcohol and on their way home they are robbed, raped and killed because they go home at night when they are drunk.others die in car accidents because they drink and steal their parents cars and drive and kill people in car accidents and they get arrested and their life ends in jail.I hope 1 day people will stand against drugs, rape, crime and murder and make our country a better place to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

These Bruises
We do not talk about them, these bruises: the ink stains on my fingers, or the marks she left on my neck.  You do not ask me about those photographs: the smiles that remember caresses, the averted-gaze-embraces.  But I wear them – the memories and the marks – and I think you know tha...
