Dead

I thought you noticed me with those beautiful eyes
I thought we'd be together for the rest of our lives

When I asked if we could be
He said how do you know me
My heart broke to a thousand tiny pieces
It felt like I had a million diseases

And then I thought I must be dead
My stomach as aching and so was my head
Not dead like dying
But dead from crying

Crying for you, that's what I'll always do
But I won't think or even regret
The day our eyes met

Boys

Don't you ever wonder “what are boys”

They sometimes act like broken toys

And when you see one walking by

They don't even bother to say “hi”

If you are having lunch with a boy

they play with their food

That makes me in a bad mood

So when they leave a room everyone is full of joy

But lets face it if boys were not there

none of us would have been here.

And with no boys who burp, sneeze and fart

Us girls would not look so smart

And they know how to win a girls heart.

Backspace keys

Don’t you ever wish people should have backspace keys,
for example you liked to tease,
you don’t like what you have said and you regret every word,
you could just take your backspace keys and life would be an ease,
I would be as simple as a bird.

Teachers

What do teachers do after school?
Do they go to a swimming pool?
Do they go to after care?
Or do they play truth or dare?
Do they do homework too?
Or do they watch TV like me and you?
When I find out I will put it in a poem for you trust me that’s what I will do.

These Bruises
We do not talk about them, these bruises: the ink stains on my fingers, or the marks she left on my neck.  You do not ask me about those photographs: the smiles that remember caresses, the averted-gaze-embraces.  But I wear them – the memories and the marks – and I think you know tha...

Clans names and their role in creating a positive self esteem.
I have observed with interest people's contributions on the history of their clan names on the projects wall. It is said that it is important for a person to know his or her own past in order to be able to make proper plans for his/her future. Knowing oneself contributes to a positive self esteem. A...
